OPEN-FOR-BUSINESS INVESTMENT VIDEO:

The open-for-business video on Sierra Leone has been premiered today, Thursday 14th March 2019 at the 6th International Africa Development Forum in Casablanca, Morocco.

The investment video features His Excellency President Julius Maada Bio and Vice President Dr Juldeh Jalloh talking about the investment opportunities in Sierra Leone. This video is part of Government's effort to rebrand Sierra Leone and attract foreign investors.

On assuming power in April 2018, the Government of His Excellency President Julius Maada Bio has always emphasized that economic diplomacy is on top of his foreign policy agenda.

In pursuance of this noble objective, all corridors for trade and investments are now open to genuine investors, irrespective of the region that they may come from.

And whilst engaging themselves in any form of genuine business in the country, foreign Investors in particular, will always be assured of their full protection of the law. They will at the same time experience the unique warm Sierra Leonean hospitality, peace and security.

The country is blessed with countless resources such as the following:

• Minerals- diamonds, gold, bauxite, iron, rutile etc.
•   Agricultural products- cocoa, coffee, palm kennel, palm oil, ginger, timber, rubber etc. There is abundant rainfall and lands to undertake commercial farming.
• Tourism – natural beaches, historic sites, birds, wild animals, mountains and several other attractions.
• Marine resources- abundant fish including shrimps and lobsters.
• Natural Harbour in Freetown with growing need for its expansion and modernization with possibility also to have dry harbour in densely populated areas.

Other areas of interest to the Government and People of Sierra Leone include the construction of middle income housing estates, roads etc.
